Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the services of K&O Courier Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. By proceeding with our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms in full.

Continued use of our services constitutes ongoing acceptance.

2. Business Location & Contact Information

Delivery Available In:

  • Darliston

  • Surrounding areas (Home & Office Delivery Available)

3. Scope of Services

K&O Courier Service provides:

  • International shipping services

  • Package receiving and handling

  • Home and office delivery (within service areas)

  • Online shopping assistance

  • Company card purchase services (we shop on your behalf)

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue services at any time without prior notice.

4. Pricing Structure

Shipping Rates:

  • $700 JMD for the first pound

  • $300 JMD per pound for 2–10 lbs

  • $400 JMD per pound after 10 lbs

Weight Rounding Policy:

All weights are rounded up at 0.4 lb and above to the next full pound.

5. Additional Fees

  • Handling Fee: $2,000 JMD for packages over 10 lbs

  • Shopping Assistance Fee: $1,500 JMD for every $5,000 spent

  • Company Card Usage Fee: $1,000 JMD for every $5,000 spent

  • Delivery Fee: $500 – $1,000 JMD (based on location)

All additional service fees must be paid in full before release or delivery of packages.

6. Referral Program

We appreciate loyal customers!

  • Referrer receives $100 JMD store credit

  • New customer receives $50 JMD store credit

  • Referral reward activates once the referred customer spends $10,000 JMD

Store credits are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

7. Shopping Points Program

Customers earn reward points on spending.

  • 100 points = $1 JMD

  • 1,000 points = $10 JMD

Points have no cash value and can only be redeemed toward shipping fees or approved services.

K&O Courier Service reserves the right to adjust or terminate the points program at any time.

8. Responsibility, Risk & Liability

All shipments are transported at the customer’s own risk.

K&O Courier Service assumes limited liability for loss, damage, or delay.

We are not responsible for:

  • Vendor errors

  • Incorrect shipping information provided by customers

  • Packages lost before arrival at our warehouse

  • Customs delays or inspections

  • Third-party carrier issues

Responsibility begins once packages are received and scanned into our system and ends upon pickup or delivery confirmation.

9. Packaging & Fragile Items

We are not responsible for damage caused by improper packaging by vendors.

Fragile items including electronics, glass, liquids, cosmetics, or breakable goods are shipped strictly at the owner’s risk.

10. Prohibited & Restricted Items

Customers must ensure all shipped items comply with Jamaican and international laws.

Prohibited items include but are not limited to:

  • Illegal drugs or controlled substances

  • Firearms, ammunition, weapons

  • Explosives or hazardous materials

  • Counterfeit goods

  • Perishable foods

  • Live animals

  • Cash or negotiable instruments

Any prohibited items may be confiscated or surrendered to authorities without refund.

11. Customs, Duties & Government Fees

Customers are responsible for all applicable customs duties, taxes, and government fees.

K&O Courier Service is not liable for customs-related delays, penalties, or seizures.

12. Payments

All payments must be settled in full before:

  • Package pickup

  • Delivery

  • Online shopping purchases

All service fees are non-refundable once processing has begun.

13. Claims & Complaints

All claims must be submitted within 48 hours of package pickup or delivery.

Supporting documentation (receipts, photos, invoices) may be required.

WhatsApp messages alone do not constitute an official claim unless confirmed by management.

14. Storage & Uncollected Packages

Packages must be collected promptly after notification.

Packages not collected within 7 days may incur storage fees.

Packages uncollected after 30 days may be sold, donated, or disposed of to recover outstanding fees.

15. Cancellations

Cancellations must be requested prior to processing. Once shipping or purchasing has begun, fees are non-refundable.

K&O Courier Service reserves the right to cancel services at its discretion.

16. Amendments

K&O Courier Service reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions constitute the full agreement between K&O Courier Service and its customers.
